About Dr. Bartee

I have been a clinical practitioner in the Fort Worth area since 1991. I received my undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian University in Pre-Medical Science, my Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas, and my Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.

I am an Assistant Professor at Texas Wesleyan University, teaching in the Graduate Counseling Program. I am also a clinical supervisor for LPC Interns and LMFT Associates, and am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

I married my high school sweetheart, celebrating our 48th anniversary this year. My wife and I are blessed with three grown children, all married, and am additionally blessed to have 8 grandchildren (who keep me both busy and broke!).

I am active in my local church, have been the President of the Fort Worth Area Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy for six years, and was recently appointed by Governor Abbott to serve on the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists as a state commissioner.
